On September 27, we will be hosting a public Laughter Yoga session at the world-famous A-maze-ing Laughter statues at English Bay (1800 Morton Ave, Vancouver).

What an amazing weekend of laughter this is going to be!
With the North American Laughter Conference happening in White Rock, followed by a big public laughter celebration that afternoon, we thought there was only one appropriate way to cap off the weekend…
Take our regular Sunday Laughter Club somewhere ridiculous.
So instead of our usual location, we’re heading to the famous A-maze-ing Laughter statues at English Bay!
You’ve seen them. You’ve probably walked past them. You may have even wondered what the hell those giant laughing people are doing there.
Well… we’re going to join them.
We’ll laugh, play, move, and have some fun surrounded by Vancouver’s most famous laughing crew.
And because this is our regular weekly Laughter Club, you don’t need to have attended the conference to join us. Everyone is welcome! No Laughter Yoga experience necessary, and you definitely don’t have to be “good” at laughing.
Just show up, bring a friend, and let’s see if we can make the statues wonder what we’re laughing about.

Hello and hahaha Laughter Friends,

Thank you so much for your interest in the North American Laughter Conference – Celebrating Community Through Laughter. We’re excited to share that a limited number of pre-sale tickets will be available very soon.

We will be releasing 20 pre-sale tickets on January 25 at 7:00 AM Mountain Standard Time at www.laughterconference.ca.

Ticket pricing is as follows (CAD):

The conference fee covers the entire program from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon, including all speakers, sessions, events, and activities. It also includes two dinners (Friday and Saturday) and two lunches (Saturday and Sunday).

Accommodation, transportation to and from White Rock, and breakfasts are not included. You will book your own accommodation at the Ocean Promenade Hotel. To receive a preferred booking rate of $25 CAD off per night, please call 1-888-976-2326 and quote “Laughter Conference.”

For breakfast, you are welcome to self-cater in your hotel room or enjoy one of the many local cafés nearby. After registering, you will also be invited to join our private Facebook group (to be set up shortly), where attendees can connect to carpool or share accommodation if you wish.

All conference attendees are invited to be featured on our conference webpage.

If you have applied to present at the conference, we will begin working on the program schedule in mid-February and will be in touch by February 28. Conference presenters who are selected will be offered a discounted conference ticket, and details will be shared directly. (Apologies for the delay on this as I (Lora) am in New Zealand on a family holiday so we’ll be meeting after I get back to go over our amazing applications!)
